Community Investment / Donation Requirements

AstraZeneca supports the general mission of registered not-for-profit organizations or registered charities for healthcare, local communities, or other charitable and philanthropic activities.

Supportable community investment applications must:

• Be submitted at least 45 days prior to the start date or requested decision date.
• Have alignment to AstraZeneca’s core therapeutic areas and sustainability goals that advance patient health, increase access to care, drive science innovation and build resilient communities.
• Request for support towards the general mission of a registered not-for-profit or registered charity.
• Request support towards fundraising events for registered not-for-profit / registered charities, limited to event tickets, tables, or logo display.

To support your application, please provide the complete application details:

• A letter of request from the registered not-for-profit or register charity organization. The letter of request must be on the requesting organization’s letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory on behalf of the registered not-for-profit or register charity organization.
• For not-for-profit organizations: Provide your latest annual report or your current registered provincial/federal financial statements, along with a list of current directors.

45 days post the CyberGrants ‘Program End Date’, organizations will receive a CyberGrants email notification to upload documents/materials as proof of completion to satisfy the below Post-Funding principles:

• Demonstrate that the event/initiative took place.
• Demonstrate that the purpose and deliverables of the request were fulfilled.
• Demonstrate that the funds were utilized as agreed upon per the request.
