Because of the complex regulatory, legal and health-related issues surrounding the distribution of prescription medicines, AstraZeneca does not donate prescription medicines directly to individuals or groups other than HPIC. About Health Partners International of Canada HPIC is a registered Canadian charity that distributes donated Canadian medicines, medical supplies and vaccines to the needy and suffering throughout the world regardless of race, religion, creed, age or gender. HPIC works closely with Canada's pharmaceutical, medical supply and vaccine industries to obtain the most needed, appropriate and highest quality in-date medicines, medical supplies and vaccines.
